Clad in dhoti, Pranab Mukherjee chanted hymns before the idol on the second day of the four-day Durga Puja as the devotees repeated the shlokas and offered floral offerings to Goddess Durga.

The bus, which was heading to Kolkata, crashed into the cement fencing of a bridge before breaking it and falling into the Dakatia khal canal near Gojarmore at around 9 am, district police chief Sukesh Jain told news agency PTI.
 

Recalling those days, Ganguly told Zee media, “Those days were really frustrating. I used to call my parents and enquire about the puja decorations and the festive mood. Now I see the same feeling in my daughter Sana.”

Photos were clicked and leaked on social media, and then people discovered this goof up. Many on Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp mocked it while some branded it as an outright insult to Hinduism.
